OpenKiosk is a secure, configurable, stand alone public web browser that can run on most hardware.

System tasks like reboot, shutdown, browser restart, autoupdates, system autoupdates, display management, audio controls, etc., are all integrated with the device and easily managed locally or remotely.
A configurable osk is available for touchscreen devices with full support for upper and lowercase letters, integers, special characters, accents, AZERTY and QWERTZ layouts, with common emojis and domain extensions.
Available browser and system updates are easily managed from device or remote settings. Once an update is initialized, it is fully automatic making it simple to keep the browser and device OS up to date.
There is no user access to the underlying system. Device settings login is password protected which can be turned off via remote management. There is no desktop or file system UI running behind the browser. OpenKiosk runs as a system service and will automatically restart in the event of an unlikely crash. The device is completely locked down.
Additional supported languages are Danish (da), German (de), Spanish (es-ES), French (fr), and Italian (it). Languages can be selected in settings with keyboard and osk locale autoselected. Text to speech (TTS) is also supported for these languages. Other languages will be supported in the future as needed.
