About

You may have noticed OpenKiosk has undergone a dramatic transformation. It is no longer just an installable custom browser limited by operating system application constraints. It is now a system integrated, secure and robust, stand alone public browser that can be intalled on almost any hardware. In order to completely lock down a device for public use, it is necessary to integrate the browser not only at the application level but also at the system level in order to limit user access to web browsing only. I hope you will appreciate the hard work that went into this release. Please give it a spin and help it become the best open source public browser out there.
